SOS Dress Down Days are one of our most popular in-school Fundraising Events. In 2025-26, we raised $25,518.41!

What is SOS Dress Down?

Pembroke Pines Charter School students may dress according to the monthly theme or wear their favorite county-approved top ($1) and/or bottom ($1). Students may participate on designated dress down days, typically held on the second Tuesday of each month.

Prepayment Information

Payment for Dress Down Days has been simplified for your convenience! Parents now have the option to prepay $18 per student for the entire school year, making participation quick and easy.

If you have more than one child, a separate payment and form must be submitted for each student.

Please be sure to complete all of the required fields to ensure your child is added to the Dress Down participation list.This information will be sent to the school for verification of prepayment.

Please Note: For Pines Charter Middle School students, list your child's 1st Period Teacher instead of their homeroom teacher when completing the prepayment form.

• Tuesday, November 10: SOS Dress Down Day - Elementary and Middle 
• Tuesday, December 8: SOS Dress Down Day - Elementary and Middle 
• Tuesday, December 15 (FSU ONLY): SOS Dress Down Day - Elementary and Middle 
• Tuesday, January 19: SOS Dress Down Day - Elementary and Middle 
• Tuesday, February 9: SOS Dress Down Day - Elementary and Middle
• Tuesday, March 9: SOS Dress Down Day - Elementary and Middle 
• Tuesday, April 13: SOS Dress Down Day - Elementary and Middle 
• Monday May, 3 (TENATIVE): SOS Dress Down Day - Elementary and Middle (This date is subjected to change to accommodate for end of year testing days)

SOS Dress Down Full-Year Prepay is now closed.

Students may still participate in our SOS Dress Down Days! Payment will be collected on the day of each Dress Down Day.

A Half-Year Prepay option will open in December for those who wish to prepay for the remaining SOS Dress Down Days.

Important Information:

• SOS Dress Down Prepayment: If you have opted for the SOS Dress Down prepayment, it covers all SOS Dress Down Days for the school year 2026-27. However, this prepayment does not cover other non-SOS related dress down days such as PTA or by-grade dress down days. These will follow the usual payment procedures.
• Non-Prepaid Participants: If you did not purchase the prepayment, your child can still participate in the SOS Dress Down. The payment must be made on the day of each SOS Dress Down day.
