SOS Dress Down

SOS Dress Down Days are one of our most popular in-school Fundraising Events. In 2021-22, we raised $27,539.75!

What is SOS Dress Down?

Pembroke Pines Charter School Students can dress up based on the theme of that month or wear their favorite county-approved top ($1) or bottom ($1). Students may dress up on designated days, typically every second Tuesday of the month.

Payment for dress down has been recently simplified: you will have the convenience of prepaying for your child(ren). Simply prepay for your child(ren) by giving us their name (first and last), school, and your child(ren)'s homeroom teacher. If your student attends Academic Village Middle, please list your child's 1st period teacher instead of Homeroom Teacher. This information will be sent to the school for prepayment verification.

Tuesday, October 11: SOS Dress Down Day - Elementary and Middle Schools

Tuesday, November 15: SOS Dress Down Day - Elementary and Middle Schools

Tuesday, December 6: SOS Dress Down Day - Elementary and Middle Schools

Tuesday, January 17: SOS Dress Down Day - Elementary and Middle Schools
Tuesday, February 7: SOS Dress Down Day - Elementary and Middle Schools
Tuesday, March 14: SOS Dress Down Day - Elementary and Middle Schools
Tuesday, April 4: SOS Dress Down Day - Elementary and Middle Schools
Tuesday, May 2: SOS Dress Down Day - Elementary and Middle Schools (this date is subjected to change to accommodate for end of year testing days)

The first SOS Dress Down Prepay Option will open on December 8, 2022 at 7:30 a.m and close on January 4, 2023 at 7:30 a.m. If you missed the first SOS Dress Down Prepay window you will have another option to prepay for the second half of the school year.  If you have not prepaid, your child may still participate in the SOS Dress Down Day by paying on the day of each SOS Dress Down Day.

There are three prepayment options available for purchase for SOS Dress Down months

January- May

1 Student: $10

2 Students: $20

3 Students: $30

4 or more students please contact Maria Bulalacao at mbulalacao@ppines.com no later than January 3, 2023 at 3:00 p.m.

The second SOS Dress Down Prepay Window is closed.  If you have not prepaid, your child may still participate in the SOS Dress Down Day by paying on the day of each SOS Dress Down Day.
